As we prepare to open the doors to Le Parc by tashas in Mouille Point, we are looking for passionate and energetic Chefs – Front Line to join our opening kitchen team.

At Le Parc, every dish tells a story. As a Chef – Front Line, you will play an important role in delivering the quality and efficiency our guests expect, ensuring every order leaves the kitchen beautifully prepared and on time.

Your Mission

You will prepare and serve high-quality menu items with consistency, speed and precision while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, organisation and teamwork.

What You'll Be Doing

Food Preparation & Service

  • Prepare toasted sandwiches, burgers and a variety of hot light meals according to brand recipes and presentation standards.
  • Assemble ingredients accurately while maintaining consistency in flavour, quality and portion sizes.
  • Ensure every dish is prepared efficiently without compromising quality.
  • Monitor cooking temperatures, product quality and presentation throughout service.
  • Prepare fillings, sauces, garnishes and mise en place before each shift.
  • Taste and quality-check food to ensure every dish meets Le Parc standards.
  • Work closely with the pass and service teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.

Kitchen Operations

  • Ensure your section is fully stocked, organised and ready for service.
  • Monitor ingredient freshness and communicate stock requirements proactively.
  • Label, rotate and store products correctly in line with food safety procedures.
  • Minimise waste through careful portion control and responsible stock management.
  • Operate grills, sandwich presses and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist other kitchen sections when required to support a smooth service.

Quality & Brand Standards

  • Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, consistency and presentation.
  • Ensure every dish reflects the values and quality associated with Le Parc by tashas.
  • Take pride in every detail, from preparation and plating to cleanliness and organisation.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence across the kitchen team.

Teamwork & Culture

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across all kitchen sections.
  • Communicate effectively with Front and Back of House teams to ensure seamless service.
  • Support new team members and contribute to a positive learning environment.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, reliability and a positive attitude every day.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout your workstation.
  • Follow all food safety, HACCP and health regulations.
  • Ensure equipment, utensils and preparation areas are clean, sanitised and well maintained.
  • Handle food products safely and responsibly at all times.
  • Report maintenance issues, equipment faults or safety concerns promptly.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a café, restaurant or fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Experience preparing sandwiches, burgers, grilled items or light meals is advantageous.
  • A genuine passion for food and hospitality.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
  • The ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider kitchen team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
