Delivery Driver

This position occasionally requires long-haul driving, including being away for up to a full week at a time for out-of-town deliveries.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Transport goods to customers promptly and safely, including long-distance routes.
  
• Load and unload vehicles.
  
• Maintain an organized travel schedule.
  
• Manage delivery notes and fuel slips accurately.
  
• Ensure the vehicle is fueled, clean, and ready for use.
  
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete checklists.
  
• Coordinate with the Logistics Coordinator for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  
• Merchandise stock and assist with the installation of stands when required.
  
• Adhere to all traffic rules, safety procedures, and company policies.
  
• Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers.
  

Desired Experience & Qualification:

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
  
• Valid C1 (Code 10) South African Driver’s Licence.
  
• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver.
  
• Willingness and ability to travel long distances and sleep out during the week.
