We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Homecare Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the vital link between our company and the veterans we serve. You will be responsible for delivering essential Veterans Affairs (VA) medical products directly to patients' homes, ensuring they are comfortable with their equipment, and providing critical education on the safe operation of home oxygen therapies.
Handle all administrative tasks and processes in relation to patients and monthly follow up. Specifically, looking after the existing customer base and also taking care of the acquisition of new customers. Titration downloads of patients and set appointment with patients for routines, home sleep studies, Cpap and confirm delivery
Timeous delivery & connection of equipment to home patients. In addition, you are available to advise our customers on all aspects of our products and conduct training courses (performing a demo of the diagnostic tool / equipment).
Ensure routine visits are done timeously and completed in a month and manage patient list and the PDA’s according to the demarcated and conduct patient visit as per procedure according to the work instruction. Implement the Therapy Initiation Program and Therapy Optimisation Program
Be available on call 24 hours / availability over weekends / Public Holidays and telephonic assistance of patients. Ensure accurate stock count & control of equipment and disposables whilst monitoring of expenses. Ensure maintenance and usage of the company pool car
Implement and adhere to Safety and Quality related topics, policies and procedures. Implement Cpap Therapy as per sleep study/ Doctors prescription and demonstration of Cpap Machine and Mask. New Patients - Delivery of Insulin Pumps and Disposable and ensure patient education on Insulin Pump Therapy and assist with pump set up and demo. Monthly Disposable Deliveries. Compile monthly state information using the state template.

Registered Nurse Degree/Diploma
Matric (Senior Certificate)
Experience
2 years experience in the Respiratory Care
3 years driving experience
Knowledge and Know-how specific to the job
Operate autonomously
Knowledge of patient care
Knowledge of a consultative and diagnostic process
Relationship and money management
Knowledge of VA Safety procedures
