SUMMARY

Our client has a vacancy for an Executive Sales candidate, on a permanent basis, based in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.

POSITION INFO

Applicants are required to strictly meet the following criteria: Grade 12 with a proven track record (5+ years) in the sales industry of achieving sales targets essential Knowledge of and exposure to the boating industry advantageous Excellent proposal writing / presentation skills and a strong CRM background Demonstrated skill in prospecting and cold calling and able to do project costing Excellent verbal and written communication skills; valid drivers, own vehicle, and willing to travel MS Office skills with Intermediate Excel. Primarily an office-based role. Self-motivated and able to work both independently and part of a team The s uccessful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Sell and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach and by creating awareness and growing the company brand Primarily focused on sales of standard designs Respond to website, email and phone inquiries, as well as distributor orders Make initial contact with prospective buyers Establish client needs and recommend suitable products in conjunction with Technical Manager Prepare costings, plus any additional equipment required (engines/ trailers) Agree on delivery method with clients and cost accordingly Generate final proposals and build time in consultation with Sales Manager and Production Manager Submit proposal and follow up In the event of a sale, take care of all client liaisons, visits, feedback reporting, vessel handover, etc Attend to any customer complaints Attend relevant industry trade shows where required Coordinate all marketing activities for the local market Prepare and deliver client presentations as required FUTURE ROLE EVOLUTION: Future role will include travel to existing and prospective distributors in Southern Africa With time the role will evolve into one of larger sales to larger corporate clients and gov institutions Sal ary: Market related To apply email detailed CV, and all supporting documentation through to If you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful
