Design Engineer

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established composites manufacturer supplying performance parts to the aviation and automotive sectors, on the hunt for a Design Engineer to join their technical team.

About the role

You'll be involved in the design and development of composite components and interior structures, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to bring designs from concept through to production-ready parts.

What we're looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with CATIA V5 (essential)
• Background in design engineering or interior design, ideally within aerospace, automotive, or composites manufacturing
• Solid understanding of design-for-manufacture principles
• Ability to work within a technical, quality-driven environment (AS/EN 9100 or similar standards advantageous)
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
