Contracts Manager

Our client is a one of South Africa's leading residential property developers, renowned for delivering high-quality, lifestyle-focused apartment estates across the country. They are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple residential developments across its project portfolio.

This is a senior leadership role for a commercially astute construction professional who can effectively manage site teams, programmes, budgets, quality, safety, and stakeholder relationships while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high construction standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management/ Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction with significant experience in a Contracts Manager or similar leadership role
• Proven track record managing multiple large scale residential development simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Manage the full construction lifecycle of multiple residential developments.
• Lead, mentor, and support Construction Managers, Site Managers, and project teams.
• Oversee project budgets, forecasts, cost control, and commercial performance in conjunction with Quantity Surveyors.
• Develop and monitor construction programmes to ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Liaise with government departments, municipal authorities, consultants, subcontractors, and clients.
