Legacy Underwriting Managers (Pty) Ltd
- Capturing of financial General Ledger entries for multiple companies
- Capturing of multiple bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries
- Reconciling incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments to accounts payable
- Creating company financial reports with the above information included
- Generating financial reports that display the companies’ profits, assets, liabilities, equity and cash flow
- Calculating and submitting of taxes (VAT, PAYE & Income TAX) and other regulatory financial obligations
- Fixed Asset Register maintenance
- Keeping company secretarial files up to date
- Annual confirmations to CIPC, including beneficial ownership.
- FICA confirmations
- General ledger maintenance
- Audit readiness (compile audit files and audit journals)
- Foreign payments in accordance with Reserve bank regulations.
- Employee salary and PAYE payments.
- Calculation and payment of agent monthly commissions
- Strong focus on automation of financial systems and procedures.
Education: Degree in Finance or Accounting is required
Job Experience & Skills Required
- 3 - 5 years' experience in accounting role
- Should be enrolled with a controlling body like SAIPA, SAICA
- Strong computer literacy
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player
