Gijima is recruiting 15 learners for an Occupational Certificate: Cybersecurity Analyst NQF Level 5 (SAQA ID 118986) learnership programme in Gauteng, for a 12-month period. This qualification provides a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, network security, threat detection, risk management, and information systems, equipping learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to identify, analyse, and respond to cyber threats in a modern digital environment.

The criteria is as follows:- Matric certificate with Mathematics and English. Exposure to cybersecurity, information technology, networking, or digital security concepts will be advantageous but not a requirement. Candidates with a strong interest in cybersecurity and protecting digital systems are encouraged to apply Further learning is the ability to use a personal computer. Candidates must not have a criminal record. Candidates must currently be unemployed. Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program. Candidates must live in or around Gauteng (Midrand Area) Candidates must be between 18 and under the age of 35 as of 1 August 2026. Candidates must be a South African Citizens Competencies/Skills Required:- Candidates must be passionate about technology, cybersecurity, and protecting digital systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. Candidates must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, investigate, and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities. Candidates must have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively with users, colleagues, and stakeholders on cybersecurity matters. Candidates must demonstrate attention to detail, critical thinking, and a commitment to maintaining information security best practices. Candidates must be eager to continuously learn and keep up to date with emerging cyber threats, security technologies, and industry trends.
