SUMMARY

Well established manufacturing company situated in the East Rand - Benoni area urgently seeking an experience Payroll & Cashbook Controller to join their finance team.

POSITION INFO

Key responsibilities include: Processing and managing weekly wages and monthly salaries Maintaining payroll records for permanent and fixed-term employees Managing cashbooks and monthly bank reconciliations Preparing and submitting EMP201, EMP501, UIF, MIBFA and WCA/RMA returns Performing monthly payroll and third-party reconciliations Managing and maintaining the payroll system Driving payroll process improvements and digitisation initiatives Administering the Employee Self-Service (ESS) platform Minimum requirements: 5+ years'' payroll experience, preferably across multiple entities Cashbook and bank reconciliation experience Strong knowledge of South African payroll legislation and statutory submissions Experience with payroll systems (Sage Payroll Professional preferred) Excel skills High attention to detail with the ability to work to strict deadlines We''re looking for someone who is proactive, highly organised, technically strong, and able to take ownership of the payroll function while continuously improving processes and ensuring compliance.
