Purpose Of The Job
Our client is looking for an experienced Parts Sales Executive to join the team. The Commercial Vehicle Parts Sales Executive is responsible for selling commercial vehicle parts and accessories to retail and trade customers while providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will identify customer requirements, accurately source and supply parts, build lasting customer relationships, and contribute towards achieving departmental sales and profitability targets.

Responsibilities: Parts Sales Assist customers with commercial vehicle parts enquiries, both in person and telephonically Identify and supply the correct parts based on customer requirements Prepare accurate quotations and process sales orders efficiently Promote genuine parts, accessories, and related products Achieve individual sales and gross profit targets Upsell and cross-sell products where appropriate Customer Service Deliver professional and friendly customer service at all times Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and trade customers Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally Keep customers informed regarding order status and delivery times Follow up on quotations and outstanding customer enquiries Inventory & Stock Control Check stock availability and advise customers accordingly Assist with stock replenishment and inventory control Report stock shortages and fast-moving items to management Participate in regular stock takes when required Ensure stock is handled correctly and stored safely Administration Process invoices, quotations, and customer orders accurately Maintain accurate customer and sales records Ensure all documentation is completed according to company procedures Process customer returns and warranty claims where applicable Business Development Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers Identify opportunities to generate new business Promote company products and special offers Assist with achieving overall departmental objectives General Duties Maintain a clean and organised work environment Work closely with the workshop and service departments to meet internal parts requirements Comply with company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) Minimum 2-3years previous experience in commercial vehicle/logistics/ motor industry parts sales Good knowledge of commercial vehicle parts and components Computer literate with experience using dealership management systems and Microsoft Office Strong sales and negotiation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good product knowledge of commercial vehicle parts Strong customer service orientation Good organisational and administrative skills Valid driver's licence Clear criminal record Motor Industry experience Essential!!
