This is a senior leadership opportunity for a strategic and hands-on operations professional who can lead multiple infrastructure functions while driving operational excellence, service delivery, security, and continuous improvement. This role oversees IT Infrastructure, IT Support, and Facilities, making it ideal for someone with strong technical leadership experience and a passion for building high-performing teams and scalable operational processes. About the Role As the IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading three critical operational teams: IT Infrastructure, IT Support, and Facilities. You will ensure the availability, security, and resilience of the organisation's technology environment while overseeing facilities management and driving operational efficiencies across the department. You will provide strategic leadership, mentor team members, implement best practices, improve service delivery, and lead initiatives that support the organisation's long-term business objectives. Key Responsibilities IT Infrastructure Management Ensure high availability and performance of servers, networks, and core IT infrastructure Oversee cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance Maintain robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans Monitor infrastructure health and proactively address risks and vulnerabilities IT Support Leadership Manage IT support operations and ensure SLA compliance Oversee software deployment, maintenance, and user support Maintain IT asset registers and Active Directory environments Drive service excellence and continuous improvement across support services Facilities Management Oversee building maintenance, physical infrastructure, utilities, and security systems Manage facilities-related service providers and maintenance activities Ensure building asset registers remain accurate and up to date Support the smooth operation of company facilities and shared services Leadership & Operations Lead, mentor, and develop multiple operational teams Develop policies, procedures, and governance frameworks Drive operational efficiency, cost optimisation, and process improvements Implement projects that improve business performance and service delivery Monitor departmental KPIs and ensure operational targets are achieved Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT operations with business strategy What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Facilities Management, or a related field Minimum 5 years' experience in an IT Operations or Facilities Management leadership role Proven experience managing multiple technical and operational teams Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and systems administration Experience developing IT policies, governance frameworks, and operational processes Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving capability Experience managing service delivery and SLA performance Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution Nice to Have Cybersecurity experience IT Infrastructure management expertise Facilities or building management experience Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools Knowledge of solar power, backup battery systems, and generators Business continuity and disaster recovery planning experience What's On Offer Market-related salary based on experience Performance-based annual bonus Subsidised Life and Disability Cover Funeral Cover Hybrid working opportunity Opportunity to lead a critical operational function within a well-established business Exposure to strategic technology and infrastructure initiatives Company Culture This organisation values innovation, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
