POSITION INFO

A leading and highly respected building contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of prestigious luxury apartment developments along Cape Town's Atlantic Seaboard. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional with a proven track record of managing high-end residential projects from inception through to final completion. Minimum Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Building, or Civil Engineering. Minimum 10 years' experience in the building industry. Proven experience as a Contracts Manager on luxury apartment and high-end residential developments. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, programming, budgeting, quality control, and health & safety. Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills. Ability to manage multiple site teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Oversee multiple luxury residential building projects from planning through to handover. Manage project programmes, budgets, procurement, and contractual obligations. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Lead and mentor site management teams. Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers. Monitor project performance and implement corrective measures where required. Ensure compliance with all statutory and company requirements. The Successful Candidate Will: Be highly organised and commercially astute. Thrive in a fast-paced, high-end construction environment.
