POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 5 years post-graduate mechanical design experience At least 2 years' experience within the mining or automotive industry Proficiency in mechanical design and CAD software Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals Experience with component design, product development, and engineering documentation Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials selection Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities Key Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and design evaluations Support product development and continuous improvement initiatives Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and project engineering Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation activities Identify and implement cost-effective and innovative engineering solutions What We're Looking For A technically strong engineer with a passion for design and innovation Someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges A professional who can balance creativity with practical application An individual who takes ownership of projects and delivers results A team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills This is an outstanding opportunity to join a market-leading organisation and contribute to cutting-edge engineering solutions within the mining industry.
