Position Overview

We are looking for an HR Coordinator to join our HR function in Cape Town. This role would suit someone with prior professional HR experience who is looking to join a fast-paced HR function in an expanding IT organisation.

Salary & Benefits

The budgeted salary for this role is between 18,000 - 20,000 ZAR monthly, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide day-to-day administration support for our HR function. Some of your duties would include:

  • Conducting HR administration across different parts of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding new starters, offboarding leavers, and issuing formal HR correspondence to individuals

  • Supporting the HR Business Partners with administration requests, as required

  • Maintaining up to date employee records for current and past employees

  • Assisting with the management of the shared department inbox and answering HR-related queries from across the business

  • Ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations in all that work that is carried out

Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior professional HR experience - essential

  • Experience in a fast-paced, administrative setting

  • Ideally a degree / diploma (or equivalent) in Human Resources Management, or a related subject matter

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
