Santam Broker Solutions has an exciting position available for an Agency Maintenance Consultant who will be based in the Agency Maintenance (AMT) department. The position is based at Santam Head Office in Tygervalley.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

This role is focused on but not limited to; servicing broker requests, including enquiries.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL?

  • Capture, maintain, and update intermediary contract information on relevant Santam systems, in line with authorised stakeholder requests, FAIS regulatory requirements, and internal Santam processes.
  • Manage and respond to general intermediary enquiries, including processing amendments accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable legislation and internal requirements relating to intermediaries conducting business with Santam; identify, report, and support the resolution of compliance breaches and regulatory matters.
  • Provide guidance and advisory support to Regional Managers, Relationship Managers, and key stakeholders on intermediary contract compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Support data quality initiatives, including data clean-ups and the resolution of IGF, PI, and FSP-related matters.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication and adherence to agreed turnaround times for submitted requests.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Grade 12 (Matric);
  • 3 years’ experience in short-term insurance environment;
  • RE Certificate would be an advantageous
  • Previous experience in client services environment would serve as a further advantage

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills

  • Bilingual (Afrikaans and English) would be advantageous
  • Excellent conflict handling skills
  • Computer Literate (MS Office Package including CRM experience)

KNOWLEDGE

  • Relevant system knowledge (Mainframe and Policy Centre application) would be advantageous.
