Role Purpose
To support the Maintenance Fitter in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of locomotives and yellow plant equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with SAFLog standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements under direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with repairs and servicing
- Prepare equipment
- Maintain tools and workspace
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 / 12
- 1–3 years experience
