Job Purpose
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and results-driven Selling Sales Manager to join our dealership team.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for leading and managing the sales department, driving profitability, achieving sales targets, developing and coaching Sales Representatives, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. In addition to the management function, the incumbent will actively participate in vehicle sales, maintaining a personal sales target and contributing directly to departmental performance.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, exceptional salesmanship, sound business acumen, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences in line with the Motus values and customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership and Management
- Lead, manage, and motivate the Sales Representatives to achieve individual and departmental targets.
- Drive new and used vehicle sales performance and profitability.
- Monitor and manage sales activities, sales pipelines, and conversion rates.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews.
- Implement sales strategies and initiatives to maximize market penetration and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with dealership processes, policies, and OEM standards.
- Develop and mentor Sales Representatives through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and development of sales staff.

Selling Function
- Actively sell new (Jetour) vehicles to customers.
- Maintain an individual sales target as determined by management.
- Prospect for new business opportunities and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Conduct vehicle demonstrations and presentations.
- Ensure all sales transactions are completed accurately and effectively.
- Follow up on leads and customer enquiries promptly.
- Build long-term customer relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals.

Minimum Requirements
- Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Relevant Sales and Management qualification will be advantageous.
- Valid South African Driver's License
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in automotive vehicle sales.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a motor dealership environment.
- Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
