Business Development Executive (BDE) – Chemicals & Coatings Industry

An exciting opportunity is available with a leading international chemical manufacturing organisation for an experienced Business Development Executive to drive strategic growth across the coatings industry.

This senior leadership role is responsible for expanding market presence, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening client relationships across local, regional, and international markets.

Key Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Chemistry/Chemical Sciences (Business or Marketing qualification advantageous)

Extensive senior-level experience in:

• Business Development
• Sales Leadership
• Client Relationship Management
• Strategic Account Management

Proven track record of:

• Revenue generation
• New business acquisition
• Key account growth and retention

Strong knowledge of the coatings industry, with regional experience and international exposure being highly advantageous.

Demonstrated leadership experience managing:

• People
• Manufacturing plants and equipment
• Technology
• Labour legislation
• Local regulatory requirements
• Strategic planning
• Budgeting and implementation

Remuneration

\uD83D\uDCB0 Negotiable package: R2 million – R3 million per annum
