Harrismith (Freestate), is looking for a Private Chef (CEO & Family).

POSITION INFO

Requirements: National Senior Certificate (Grade 12). Diploma or Certificate in professional Cookery, Culinary Arts, or Hospitality Management. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a private chef, executive chef, sous chef or fine dining chef. Experience preparing a wide variety of local and international cuisines. Must have experience preparing and handling strictly Halaal food in accordance with Halaal dietary requirements and food preparation standards. Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards. Valid RSA driver's license. Willingness to travel with the CEO and family. Duties and responsibilities: Plan, prepare and present strictly Halaa, nutritious, high-quality meals for the CEO and family. Ensure that all ingredients, food products, seasonings and preparation methods comply with Halaal dietary requirements. Source, purchase and manage fresh, high-quality Halaa-certified ingredients and household food supplies. Maintain stock control management and manage the kitchen inventory efficiently. Manage food budgets and minimise waste. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the CEO, family, guests and household affairs. Skills: Culinary creativity and innovation. Adaptivity and flexibility. Working independently.
