Ecommerce Engineer/ Head of Ecommerce Technology

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Head of Ecommerce Technology / Ecommerce Engineer to lead the growth and strategic direction of its Ecommerce Division. This opportunity is suited to a commercially minded technology leader who can combine technical expertise with business strategy to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing digital commerce solutions.

Requirements:

• BSc Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Extensive senior-level experience in ecommerce engineering or digital commerce platforms
• Leadership experience with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Experience with Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or similar ecommerce platforms
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Backend development experience using Node.js, PHP, Python, or similar technologies
• Experience with REST APIs, enterprise integrations, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), Git, and SQL/NoSQL databases
