• Leading manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Brazer to join their team

POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification Minimum of 3-5 years' brazing experience within a manufacturing environment Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in a refrigeration environment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Responsibilities: Inspect all components and piping on the unit in accordance with the Production Request Form to ensure correctness and completeness prior to assembly Fit and assemble components onto the unit as specified Prepare pipes in accordance with departmental requirements and specifications Clean and prepare all surfaces prior to brazing to ensure proper adhesion and joint integrity Perform brazing of all fitted pipes and components in line with approved procedures and quality standards Clean the unit and surrounding work area upon completion of the brazing process Conduct pressure testing on completed units to identify and rectify any leaks Paint pipes and perform necessary touch-ups once work is finalised Fit capillaries and ensure that all nuts and bolts are tightened and torqued in accordance with the department's Standard Operating Procedures Maintain good housekeeping practices and ensure a safe and organised work environment TO APPLY: Only if you meet the minimum job requirements and experience as mentioned above, you may submit a detailed updated CV.
