Brazers

We are looking for Brazers for an Opportunity in Turkey.

• Fabrication, Brazing, Fitting and installing of all types of Piping and Brazing Material, including high pressure Piping, Valves, Couplings, Fittings and other similar tubular products.
• Securing components together by using agreed and accepted brazing techniques and practices in workshop.
• Selection of appropriate equipment and plan the layout and assembly of the brazing & pipe fitting process.
• Testing of material, brazing and fittings by using agreed measurements (Pre and Post Brazing and Pipe Fitting)
• Set up Equipment and Braze Parts using Gas Brazing equipment.
• Ensure suitability of all braze equipment.
• Ensure favorable environmental conditions during brazing, as far as reasonable possible.
• Follow the Work Procedure Specification, sequence and parameters thoroughly, as per applicable project/Works Number, and request for authorization, for any deviation from it.
• Ensure Braze inches are in line with the daily acceptable targets.
• Continuous minimizing of braze repairs.
• Ensure adherence to braze repair instruction.
• Identify problems (fault finding) and advise on possible appropriate actions to reduce braze defects, and job inaccuracies.
• Report cost saving measures to management.
• Follow oral and written direction as required by management, and perform all other related tasks as assigned from time to time.
• Observe the functioning of Brazing and Pipe Fitting, to determine safety hazards and need for adjustments, refitting or replacement.
• Ensure work areas are at all times neat and tidy.
• Ensure all equipment and consumables are accounted for and stored and maintained in the proper manner.
• Observe and follow all safety regulations and report all accidents and near misses to management
• Complies with the OHS ACT 85 of 1993 and all relevant health, safety, environmental, quality, legal and regulatory requirements as stipulated by company requirements.

• Valid passport
• Brazer/Welding Qualification (Red Seal advantageous)
• Coded Brazer experience advantageous.
• 4 – 5 years’ experience as a Brazer, qualified in the different brazing techniques/procedures.
• Ship Building experience advantageous.
• Keen interest in the Brazing and Pipe Fitting Environment.
• Ability to work with others to achieve job goals
• Be able to communicate, read and write effectively in the English language.
• Knowledge of 3C Metal Brazing Procedures and Polices
• Pay attention to detail.
• Be a self-starter.
