Sales Executive (Courier / Freight) -POS26258

Location: Kempton Park

Salary: R16,000 – R18,000 basic per month (Negotiable based on experience)

Travel Allowance / Fuel Card + Cell phone allowance

Key Requirements & Qualifications

·        Matric certificate (Grade 12) minimum; a tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Logistics will be highly advantageous.

·        Minimum 2–3 years of proven external sales experience specifically within the Courier, Express Freight, or Logistics industry (this is non-negotiable).

·        Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experienced in using CRM systems or sales tracking software.

·        The "Hunter" Personality: High energy, resilient, competitive, and self-driven. You don't wait for business to come to you; you go out and find it.

·        Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills in both Afrikaans and English.

·         Ability to connect comfortably with business owners, logistics managers, and procurement heads alike.

·        : Highly organized with the ability to plan your daily calling and driving routes efficiently.

·        Driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle (essential for daily client visits).

·        A proven history of meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets and securing new business (bring your stats!).

·         

 

Responsibilities

·        New Business Development (Hunting): Actively source, target, and secure new commercial accounts through aggressive cold calling, door-to-door canvassing, networking, and lead generation.

·        Client Presentations: Conduct professional face-to-face meetings and presentations with prospective corporate clients, understanding their supply chain needs.

·        Quoting & Negotiation: Prepare accurate, profitable cost proposals and rate sheets, and confidently negotiate service level agreements (SLAs).

·        Pipeline Management: Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective business and accurately log activity on the company CRM system.

·        Market Awareness: Keep up-to-date with competitor activity, industry trends, and market pricing in the Kempton Park and surrounding areas.
