We are looking for a passionate, results-driven Industry Development Manager to champion the growth of the Tool, Die, Mould and Special Machining (TDM) industry within the region. As the Industry Development Manager, you will be the regional ambassador for PtSA, building strong relationships with industry associations, government and strategic partners. You will identify business opportunities, promote PtSA's products and services, facilitate workforce development initiatives and support the long-term growth and sustainability of the TDM sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tooling and manufacturing companies at executive and operational level.
- Promote PtSA's products, services and membership to industry stakeholders.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities that contribute to regional growth and sustainability.
- Support the development and competitiveness of the TDM and broader manufacturing sectors.
- Facilitate industry benchmarking and advisory support initiatives.
- Develop partnerships that create student On-the-Job (OJT) training and workplace learning opportunities.
- Engage with provincial government, industry associations and strategic partners to advance manufacturing initiatives.
- Support enterprise development and industry collaboration.
- Represent PtSA at networking events, exhibitions, conferences and industry forums.
- Monitor industry trends and provide strategic feedback on emerging opportunities and challenges.
- Negotiate agreements and develop mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Act as the regional face of PtSA, promoting its values, services and industry impact.
