SUMMARY

Are you a qualified Toolmaker with strong practical experience in plastic injection moulding tools?

Our client based in Killarney Gardens is seeking hands-on toolmaker to assist with the maintenance, repair, and modification of plastic injection moulds to ensure efficient production and minimal downtime.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with injection moulding tools, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

REQUIREMENTS Qualified Toolmaker with a recognised trade qualification Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience Experience working on plastic injection moulds is essential Strong understanding of mould maintenance, repairs and modifications Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Experience using conventional toolroom machinery CNC experience will be advantageous Must be able to work accurately and independently Must have good problem-solving skills Must be reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team DUTIES Manufacturing, maintaining, repairing and modifying plastic injection moulds Performing preventative maintenance on moulds Fault-finding and repairing mould-related issues Assisting with tool trials and mould improvements Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications Operating conventional toolroom machinery safely and accurately Ensuring all work is completed to the required quality standards Supporting production by ensuring moulds are available and in good working condition Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area Working closely with the toolroom, production and quality teams Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
