POSITION INFO

A well-established and highly respected building contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to take full responsibility for the successful delivery of prestigious multi-storey residential developments in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity to join a contractor renowned for delivering high-quality luxury apartment projects. Minimum Requirements National Diploma or Degree in Building or Construction Management. Minimum 8 years' experience as a Site Agent with a reputable building contractor. Proven experience managing multi-storey residential or luxury apartment developments. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, quality control and health & safety requirements. Ability to lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve programme and quality objectives. Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with construction planning software will be advantageous. Valid driver's licence. Key Responsibilities Manage all site operations from establishment through to practical completion. Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour to ensure programme targets are achieved. Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with project specifications. Enforce health, safety and environmental standards on site. Control project costs and minimise waste. Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and professional teams. Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate site records. Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
