Our client based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is looking for an Electrician to join their team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified electrician.
• Electrical Instrumentation Technician.
• Industrial automation experience (3-5 years).
• Instrumentation knowledge.
• PLC knowledge.
• Excellent electrician/wireman experience.
• Excellent tools usage experience.
• Sound electrical laws knowledge.
• SHE knowledge.
• People/team management experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cable terminations.
• Termination of 3 phase / Single Phase Motors.
• On site testing of electrical installations.
• On site testing of instrumentation circuits.
• Completion of company quality testing documents.
• Compile testing results.
• Feedback to site manager / team leader.
• Maintain company standards on installations.
• Fault finding on various electrical installations.
• Fault finding on various instrumentations circuits.
• Manage site Health and Safety according to regulations.
• Various onsite PLC panel wiring according to company standards.
• Onsite VSD wiring.
• Onsite Manual motor starters.
• Any onsite electrical wiring.
