We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Junior Sales Consultant for an outdoor retail shop in Modimolle. The position is responsible for sales in the L&A environment whether in store or at an event arranged by the ISG subsidiary. It is a skilled professional who builds customer relationships, follows up on leads, and maximizes sales opportunities. They identify prospects, ensure customer satisfaction, and constantly seek new opportunities to drive business growth.

  • Firearm mechanism.
  • Present, promote and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Creating compelling sales pitches.
  • Attending to phone calls and emails providing clients with the best possible assistance.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling when required to.
  • Attend outdoor events as per company requirements.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
  • Analyse the territory/market’s potential and inform the manager of any changes.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Continuously improve on feedback given, while training junior sale staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and emphasise safety practices during customer interactions.
  • Maintain professional relations with intermediaries — distributors, wholesalers, suppliers etc.
  • Window and counter display of the products must be done in an attractive manner to attract or induce the prospects to buy.
  • Ensuring that department is always neat and presentable.
  • Following SOPs implemented by management this includes completing all paperwork relating to a sale.
  • Always monitor stock levels and informing manager when stock levels are low and need to be replenished.
  • Proactively informing manager of products that are in great demand and not in stock.

Do the following calibers:

  • -Shotgun.
  • -Handgun.
  • -Loading rifle / carbine (Semi auto rifle).
  • Manual Rifle.
  • Product Knowledge.
  • Strong familiarity with firearms, ammunition and related accessories, features, specifications and uses.
  • Sales experience.
  • Customer focus.
  • Team player.
  • At least 5 years experience in firearm Sales.
  • Matric.
  • SAPS Competency Certificate.
  • Competency certificate to trade.
  • Competency training - Accredited Provider.
  • Drivers License.
