Pool technician

JOB DESCRIPTION: Pool service technician.

As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the pools, spas, and water features of several clients, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning properly. This role requires a strong understanding of water chemistry, filtration systems, mechanical systems, and safety protocols. You will work closely with other departments to provide an enjoyable and safe swimming experience for clients, while also adhering to safety regulations.

Regularly monitor and adjust water chemistry levels (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, etc.) to ensure the pools and spas are in optimal condition for client use.

Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot pool filtration systems, pumps, heaters, and other mechanical equipment to ensure the proper functioning of all systems.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues related to pool systems. This includes the water circulation, heating systems, pumps, filters, and jets.

Ensure all pool and spa operations comply with health and safety standards, as well as local and international regulations regarding water quality and sanitation.

Interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner, providing information on pool/spa facilities and ensuring their experience is safe and enjoyable.

GRADE 12

South African Passport

Minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferred
