Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements: Candidates must have a completed matric qualification. A relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous but not mandatory. Applicants should possess between one to three years of relevant managerial experience, demonstrating effective people and process management skills. A valid driver's licence is essential for this role. Proficiency with technology and ability to interpret and utilize business intelligence tools, reports, and compliance processes is required. Strong communication and leadership capabilities, including staff development and performance management, are necessary. Candidates must exhibit sound knowledge of stock management principles, customer service excellence, and adherence to legal and safety standards, including Consumer Protection and Occupational Health and Safety Acts.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and manage stock integrity to maximize profitability.
- Lead and develop the team, ensuring effective people management and staff engagement.
- Manage promotional activities according to merchandising principles and trading notes.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and handle customer interactions and complaints efficiently.
- Implement and monitor stock replenishment and inventory accuracy to maintain product availability.
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and internal control standards, including Consumer Protection and Occupational Health and Safety Acts.
- Analyse reports and business intelligence data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with planners, distribution centers, and other departments to optimize store operations.
- Manage shrinkage and loss prevention processes, formulating and implementing corrective action plans.
- Conduct regular floor walks and housekeeping to ensure adherence to store processes and standards.
