Storeman / Driver - Brackenfell, Cape Town

A well-established supplier of industrial products is seeking a reliable and hands-on Storeman / Driver to join its Distribution Centre in Brackenfell. This role is ideal for an individual with warehouse and delivery experience who takes pride in accuracy, customer service, and maintaining high operational standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Valid Code 10 Driver's Licence with a valid PDP (essential)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a storekeeping or warehouse environment
• Minimum 2 years' delivery driving and route management experience
• Knowledge of warehouse, dispatch and stock control procedures
• Experience with inventory management and stock control processes
• Experience working on Navision or a similar ERP/Warehouse Management System
• Good administrative, organisational and time management skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to perform manual handling and lifting duties
• Forklift Licence (advantageous)
• Stores and Stock Control Certificate (advantageous)
• Trailer management experience (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and accurately record incoming stock
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer and transfer orders accurately
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
• Ensure products are packed securely to prevent damage during transit
• Complete customer deliveries and supplier collections safely and on time
• Obtain and process all delivery documentation accurately
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness
• Assist with stock counts and cycle counts
• Maintain accurate stock control practices
• Support general warehouse operations and housekeeping
• Ensure compliance with company health and safety standards
