Qualifications
- Minimum of professional drafting credentials
- 2 – 6 years of drafting experience in the automotive field.
- Previous experience in the military vehicle environment would be greatly advantageous.
- Onshape and SolidWorks preferred or relevant CAD package.
- SolidWorks PDM or relevant PDM system.
- Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
- Design and Draughting: Execution of design tasks within the parameters and interfaces set by the Chief Designer or Senior Design Engineer
- Prepare Solid Models of components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies, using the business file structure guidelines and number protocol
- Prepare detailed layout and manufacturing drawings of components and assemblies
- Test and Evaluation: assist during the building and testing of prototypes
- Project Management
- Production support, capturing of red-line drawings during the building and prototype phase
