SUMMARY
Our client in Pretoria is Hiring a Junior IT Support Technician.
They are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Junior IT Support Technician to provide first-line technical support across hardware, software, Microsoft 365, and basic network-related issues. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced IT environment

Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) IT Diploma or IT Degree . 1-3 years' experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or technical support environment. Basic knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows 10/11 environments. Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting. Experience with PC hardware, printers, and peripheral support. Experience using an IT ticketing/helpdesk system will be advantageous Preferred Basic knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Intune. CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification Valid driver's licence Key Responsibilities: Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity-related issues. Install, configure, and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT peripherals. Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and related services. Assist with user account creation, password resets, access requests, and device setup. Log, monitor, update, and resolve support tickets within agreed service level agreements (SLAs). Perform basic network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi connectivity, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP issues. Maintain IT equipment, asset registers, and documentation. Ensure compliance with IT security policies, procedures, and best practices. Assist with software installations, updates, and system maintenance. Provide onsite technical support at various locations when required. Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT team members when necessary Maintain IT equipment and asset records.
