POSITION INFO

Requirements: Grade 12/ Matric 1- year proven merchandising experience Duties: Merchandising & Shelf Packing: Maintain fully stocked, neat, and organized shelves; ensure thousands of small hardware items and components are placed in correct bins Stock Rotation & Facing: Implement stock rotation practices by facing products forward and moving older inventory to the front to maintain freshness and visibility Price Labelling: Apply accurate price tags and barcodes to merchandise, ensuring shelf labels perfectly match current system pricing Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and guide them to specific aisles or items across various hardware departments Stock Picking: Accurately pick, and verify according to official quotations received from the internal sales team Housekeeping: Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping aisles, dusting shelves, managing spills, and safely disposing of packing materials like cardboard and plastic wrap Safety Compliance: Keep walkways clear of hazards, ensure heavy or bulk items are stacked securely, and maintain completely unobstructed emergency exits
