Job Summary
Under the general supervision of Transport Officer, the Driver is responsible for driving departmental staff on official trips, collection and delivery of official materials, provision of basic maintenance to the vehicles and reporting of all servicing requirements to ensure road worthiness.
Duties
- Provide driving services to Departmental staff on official matters as required.
- Collects and delivers official materials as may be required.
- Checks safety of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness on daily basis.
- Update logbook of vehicle use on daily basis for proper recording of mileage.
- Reports periodic servicing needs to the Transport Officer in advance to ensure proper handling of the vehicle.
- Washes the vehicle outside and inside on daily basis as to keep cleanliness.
Job Specification
- Education: COSC/GCE PLUS Three (3) years working experience as a Driver.
