We Are Hiring - Property Host

Location: Langebaan, West Coast

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about hospitality, property management, and guest experiences!

As a Property Host, you will be managing short-term rental properties and be the face of our operations. Your role will involve overseeing the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall guest satisfaction for each property. You’ll also work closely with your own cleaning staff and other service providers to ensure smooth property management. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high standards and enjoys working independently.

What You'll Do

Guest Communication & Support

• Act as the main point of contact for guests during their stay
• Promptly respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and special requests
• Provide property information, check-in and check-out details, and local recommendations

Property Management

• Oversee cleanliness and presentation across all assigned properties
• Coordinate cleaning schedules and maintain necessary property supplies
• Monitor safety features such as locks and smoke detectors

Enhance Guest Experiences

• Personalise guest stays with welcome packages and local guides
• Collect guest feedback and identify opportunities to improve services
• Go the extra mile to ensure memorable and seamless guest stays

Property Maintenance Coordination

• Handle minor maintenance issues when necessary
• Notify portfolio manager of damages or maintenance concerns

What You'll Need

• Experience in hospitality, property management, or customer service (short-term rentals preferred)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays when required
• Your own cleaning staff and the ability to manage property turnover efficiently
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
