SUMMARY
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated ATM Technician to join their team based in Randburg. CONTRACT BASED POSITION WITH POSSIBILITY OF BECOMING PERMANENT

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) at various client sites across South Africa. This role requires a hands-on individual with strong technical troubleshooting abilities and a willingness to travel extensively. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and commission ATMs at customer sites. Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing of ATM equipment. Diagnose and repair hardware and software faults on ATMs. Replace and repair faulty components, including card readers, cash dispensers, printers, and screens. Conduct software updates and system upgrades as required. Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns within agreed service levels. Complete testing and quality checks following repairs and installations. Maintain accurate service reports and documentation. Liaise professionally with clients and provide technical support when required. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and safety standards. Manage tools, spare parts, and equipment effectively. Travel extensively throughout South Africa to attend to client sites. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric certificate. National Diploma, N4-N6, or relevant qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Mechatronics will be advantageous. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in ATM servicing, field service, electronics, or a similar technical role. Strong understanding of electronic and mechanical systems. Experience in fault finding and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office. Valid driver's license and own reliable transport. Willing and able to travel extensively and work after hours when required. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
