Employer Description My client is in the Chemical Manufacturing Industry Job Description My client is seeking an experienced buyer who has experience in CHEMICAL MANUFACTURING to join their Procurement Team. The role includes: Focusing on expediting local and international shipments Identifying purchasing needs Building relationship with suppliers and negotiating for the best pricing Collaborate with cross functional teams including production and QA to design packaging solutions to enhance product visibility Updating inventory and managing stock levels Arranging transport of goods and tracking order to ensure timely delivery Coordinating with production, logistics and warehouse Generating and processing of branch orders Loading of relevant price lists and supplier documentations on agreed platforms Resolve any invoicing or price variances Qualifications BCom in Supply Chain / Logistics, CIPS, APICS or similar Skills 5 years' Purchasing experience in the Chemical Manufacturing Industry Proficient in ERP Software systems Benefits Medical Aid Provident Fund
