Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated ICT Support Technician to provide technical support, maintain IT infrastructure, and ensure the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, supporting end users, maintaining IT equipment, and contributing to a secure and efficient technology environment.
POSITION INFO
Key Responsibilities Technical Support Provide first-line technical support to end users. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues. Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices. Assist users with software applications and system-related queries. Systems and Network Administration Support and maintain local area networks (LANs) and related technologies. Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, network drives, and security appliances. Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functionality of IT infrastructure. Maintain system documentation and asset records. Hardware and Software Management Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications. Manage software deployments and updates across user workstations. Ensure all hardware and software systems are operational and compliant with organizational standards. Customer and User Support Provide professional support to internal and external stakeholders. Assist users in resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively. Respond to customer queries, complaints, and service requests. Gather and analyze user feedback to improve service delivery. Web and Application Support Assist with website maintenance and updates. Support front-end and back-end application functionality where required. Ensure websites and applications remain accessible and operational. Training and Documentation Assist in onboarding and training new users on IT systems and applications. Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and support procedures. Promote best practices in information security and technology usage. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or equivalent qualification. Higher Certificate in Information Technology. Additional training or certification in Cyber Security will be advantageous. Exposure to website maintenance and application support is advantageous. Additional Requirements Valid Code 10 Driver's License. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong customer service orientation and commitment to service excellence.
