POSITION INFO

Duties / Key Responsibilities Implement, maintain and support secure email and messaging solutions across desktop and mobile platforms. Manage and troubleshoot networks, including routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs. Diagnose technical issues, identify root causes and deliver effective solutions. Support security measures, access controls and system configurations. Provide technical guidance to users and stakeholders. Maintain documentation, reporting and system records. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on upgrades, migrations and installations. Technical Requirements Ideally, 4+ years relevant experience. Strong ICT knowledge across email, messaging, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, DHCP and DNS. Desktop and network support, administration or related technical roles. Understanding of Windows, Linux and macOS environments, as well as mobile operating systems. Knowledge of network security principles, hardware and monitoring tools. Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills. Other Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering or related field preferred. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft certifications or CompTIA Security+ advantageous. Preferably Afrikaans speaking and/or an understanding of Afrikaans. Salary The proposed salary for the role is R20k - R30k per month - the final offer will depend on qualifications, experience and skills.
