Our client is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer who is passionate about solving complex engineering problems and turning innovative concepts into production-ready solutions. You will be part of a collaborative team responsible for developing sophisticated products and manufacturing solutions for demanding international markets. The role offers exposure to the full product development lifecycle, from concept and design through to testing, implementation, and production support.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, tooling, jigs, and fixtures Produce detailed 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings Drive product development activities from concept through to manufacture Collaborate closely with production, quality, and project stakeholders Support testing, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives Troubleshoot engineering and manufacturing challenges Ensure designs are optimised for performance, quality, and manufacturability Contribute to innovation and engineering best practices throughout the business Minimum Requirements BEng Mechanical Engineering Minimum 4 years' post-graduate mechanical design experience Strong 3D CAD design skills Experience within a manufacturing or product development environment Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to create detailed technical drawings and engineering documentation Advantageous Experience within a highly regulated or precision engineering environment Exposure to advanced materials and manufacturing processes CATIA V5 or similar CAD software experience FEA, testing, validation, and product development experience Tooling, fixture, and process design experience The Ideal Candidate You are a naturally curious engineer who enjoys understanding how things work and how they can work better.
