Our Client is a technology solutions business is looking for an IT Network Systems Engineer to take ownership of network infrastructure, security, and system reliability across multiple environments. If you enjoy diagnosing complex issues, working hands-on with networks and infrastructure, and being the person who keeps operations running smoothly, this role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced technical environment. Responsibilities: Deploy, maintain, and support the organisation's network infrastructure Oversee the installation and maintenance of networking hardware and cabling systems Monitor network performance, system capacity, and infrastructure health Respond to network alerts, outages, and hardware failures to minimise downtime Diagnose and resolve network-related incidents and technical issues Maintain incident records, documentation, and technical reports Manage backup processes and support network security initiatives Provide technical support, guidance, and training to end users where required Requirements: Degree or National Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. CompTIA Network+, CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent networking certification. Security+ or similar security qualification advantageous. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years' experience in networking, infrastructure, or systems support roles Hands-on experience with hardware installation, network configuration, and cabling Experience using network monitoring and backup management tools Experience troubleshooting network and connectivity issues in production environments Strong understanding of network infrastructure and system support principles Knowledge of network monitoring, diagnostics, and performance optimisation Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and security best practices Firewall administration and cybersecurity exposure Apply now!
