Rosebank, Johannesburg | Hybrid | 12-Month Contract (Renewable)

R550 - R700 per hour

Are you an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager with a passion for delivering large-scale infrastructure projects from the ground up?

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure PM to lead the delivery of new building infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on networking, enterprise infrastructure and end-to-end IT environments.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects within a well-established organisation, with the potential for long-term contract extensions.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing infrastructure projects for new building developments

Leading the delivery of enterprise networking and core IT infrastructure

Managing project budgets from initiation through to successful delivery

Coordinating vendors, suppliers and cross-functional technical teams

Driving procurement, implementation and deployment of IT infrastructure

Managing project governance, risk, reporting and stakeholder communication

Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards

Requirements

We're Looking For

Proven experience as an Infrastructure Project Manager

Experience delivering new building or office infrastructure projects

Strong understanding of:

Enterprise Networking
LAN/WAN Infrastructure
Data Centres
Server & Storage Infrastructure
Network Security
IT Infrastructure Deployments
Infrastructure Refresh Projects

Strong vendor and supplier management experience

Excellent budget management skills (multi-million Rand projects)

Experience managing project budgets from approximately R500,000 to R50 million

Strong knowledge of project governance and delivery methodologies

Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills

Nice to Have

PMP, PRINCE2 or similar Project Management certification

Experience working within complex enterprise environments

Exposure to infrastructure transformation or technology modernisation initiatives
