About The Client
Our client is a wholesale timber supplier specialising in providing a broad range of timber and building materials to the education sector and timber merchants across Queensland. The business focuses on delivering reliable, timely supply with competitive pricing, supported by its own delivery fleet.
What You Will Be Doing
Our client is seeking a Factory Hand to join their team in Clontarf in a long-term role. The successful applicant will be required to work Monday-Friday. This entry level role is best suited to those with a willingness to learn, follow instructions and work safely.
In This Position You Will Be
- Support general factory operations to assist the production team and maintain workflow efficiency
- Safely feed timber into machinery, assist with tailing out, and help machine operators as required
- Stack, pack, wrap, and strap timber products for safe and efficient dispatch
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment, including routine housekeeping around machinery and work areas
- Follow all workplace safety procedures, report hazards or equipment issues, and handle materials carefully to avoid damage
- Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and operational goals
The Shift Structure Is As Follows
- Monday Thursday; 7:30am 4:00pm
- Friday; 6:30am 12:30pm
What You Will Need
- Drivers Licence & reliable transport
- Experience working in factories, warehouses or labouring is beneficial but not essential
- Physically fit and capable of undertaking repetitive manual handling tasks
- Willingness to learn and follow instruction
- Good safety mindset
