Position Details
Job Title: Architect (Architectural Technician)
Grade: G
Responsible To: Chief Architect / Relevant Supervisor
Job Summary
The Architect (Architectural Technician) is responsible for providing architectural technical support in the planning, design, supervision, and maintenance of Ministry infrastructure projects.
Key Duties
- Prepare architectural drawings and technical designs.
- Assist in planning and designing building projects.
- Provide technical support during construction projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Monitor construction works to ensure compliance with designs and standards.
- Prepare reports and technical documentation.
- Assist in project inspections and assessments.
- Provide advice on architectural and building requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field.
Experience
- Relevant experience in architectural design and construction projects.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Knowledge of architectural design principles.
- Technical drawing and drafting skills.
- Knowledge of building regulations and standards.
- Computer-aided design (CAD) skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
