POSITION INFO

Company and Job Description: A well-established company within the property sector is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Payable professional to join its finance team. Reporting to the Senior Accounts Payable , you will play an important role in supporting the accounts payable function by ensuring supplier accounts are reconciled accurately, financial records are maintained, and payment deadlines are consistently met. Key Responsibilities: Process and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly cashbooks. Download and process municipal billing from municipal portals. Perform creditor payment reconciliations and weekly credit card reconciliations. Verify supplier invoices, ensuring valid tax invoices are captured under the correct entities. Process bank imports and maintain municipal schedules. Collate and verify weekly and monthly supplier invoices. Distribute remittance advices and proof of payment to suppliers. Maintain petty cash records and controls. File, archive, scan, and electronically save financial documentation. Provide general administrative support to the Accounts Payable function. Assist with ad hoc finance duties as required. Job Experience and Skills Required: Studying towards a Finance or Accounting Diploma will be beneficial Minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience Basic accounting knowledge Experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance Administration role will be advantageous Advanced MS Office proficiency Experience with MDA/Broll Online will be advantageous Apply now!
