Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Director / Commercial Manager to lead the commercial growth strategy of the business and identify sustainable revenue opportunities across multiple construction divisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for business development, strategic relationship management, tender acquisition, negotiated work opportunities, and expansion into new markets. Key responsibilities include: Developing and executing commercial growth strategies Identifying and securing new business opportunities Building and maintaining strategic client relationships Driving tender and bid strategies Securing negotiated work opportunities Supporting revenue growth and profitability objectives Expanding market presence across public and private sectors Identifying long-term growth opportunities and partnerships Collaborating with operational teams to support business objectives Monitoring market trends and competitor activity Skills & Experience: Minimum 6 years' commercial experience within the construction industry Proven success in business development and revenue generation Experience with tenders, negotiations, and client engagement Strong network within construction, infrastructure, or related sectors advantageous Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen Ability to identify and convert market opportunities into sustainable revenue streams Qualification: Relevant qualification advantageous Degree Demonstrated commercial success and industry experience will take precedence over academic qualifications Additional Requirements: Construction industry experience is essential Strong focus on business development and client acquisition Ability to travel when required Connect with us on and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Financial recruitment vacancies.
