Employer Description 4-Star Hotel in Cape Town Job Description Our client is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the smooth operation of all maintenance functions within a large hospitality property. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong technical expertise and proven management skills to ensure the highest standards of service delivery. Key Responsibilities Finance & administration : Effectively manage budgets, financial analysis, reporting, and maintenance management systems. Human resources compliance : Access and interpret HR policies and legislative requirements for efficient implementation. Technology & procurement : Apply the latest technology and regulations to streamline sourcing and purchasing of stock. Hands-on leadership : Provide direct oversight of the maintenance department and all service areas within the hotel. Health, safety & environment : Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies and standards. Interdepartmental collaboration : Facilitate effective cooperation across departments to anticipate and exceed guest expectations. Teamwork & standards : Work independently or as part of a team to deliver consistently high-quality outcomes. Qualifications Matric (NQF 4) with good numeracy, verbal, and written English skills. Technical certification in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing. Health & Safety certification (advantageous).
