Job Purpose:
- Maintenance and support the organization’s ICT core infrastructure systems, networks, and related services.
Minimum Requirements
- National diploma in Information Technology or equivalent qualification, NQF Level 6
- MCSE or equivalent certification related to system administrator functions
- Additional relevant certifications (advantageous)
- 5 years overall ICT operations support experience
- 3 years in system administrator functions or ICT infrastructure roles
- Experience with enterprise environments and network systems
- Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies
Duties and Responsibilities
Key performance areas:
- To maintain the operational and technical administration of ICT Infrastructure and operations both on Premise and Cloud environments;
- To package, deploy and maintain all applications (Customer and Off the Shelf);
- To do analysis and root cause investigation with systems and infrastructure issues;
- Technical and operations management of the core ICT infrastructure (Networks, Data Centre OPS, Server and related hosts);
- To monitor all systems and resolve exceptions; and
- To manage relationships with key stakeholders and ICT partners;
