This position is located in Lichtenburg, North West.

We are looking for an individual who has previous experience as a Delivery Driver, who perform their tasks with integrity and with attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12/National Senior Certificate.
• Customer/client service experience will be advantageous.
• Working experience of at least one year as a delivery driver is required.
• Valid motorcycle license (Code A1).
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
• Excellent communication & people skills.
• Must be able to multitask and perform under pressure.
• Hardworking, honest and self-motivated.
• The ability to “get things done” and to think like and entrepreneur.
• Basic math and computer literacy.
• Situated within the Mahikeng area will be advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while delivering orders. Always prioritize safety on the road.
• Ensure the products is delivered to customers timeously.
• Verify that all orders are correct before leaving the shop, ensuring that customers receive the right items, and any special requests are met.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers with a friendly attitude, answering any questions, and addressing any concerns.
• Accept cash or electronic payments from customers and provide correct change or transaction confirmation when necessary.
• Assist with packaging orders, cleaning, or stocking when not out on deliveries.
• Keep an accurate log of deliveries made during each shift, including any delivery issues, payments received, and mileage (if applicable).
• Ensure that the delivery vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues to management.
• Handle any delivery-related problems, such as delays, incorrect addresses, or complaints, with professionalism and in coordination with the restaurant.
• Work closely with restaurant staff and other drivers to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations.
